Removing cleansers

I know we have spoken about cleansing products but what you put on is just as important as how you take it off!
So as we have spoken about milk, foaming or cream cleansers - they all need to be used in their own unique way.
You don’t need to be as fussy when removing your foams, as they are generally soap based so don’t hold onto the skin much at all. Foaming cleansers are used by placing a tiny amount, like half a 5 cent piece into the hand, add a little water then foam in your hands. Then start to wash the face in circular motion. Over using gel cleansers can cause excessive drying on the skin and/or leave a soapy residue on the skin, I always recommend to remove the excess if any.
Milk and cream cleansers are generally some kind of oil based or something rich to avoid stripping the skin’s natural oils so these need to be applied the same way, using around a 5 cent piece in circular motion all over the face, neck and décolletage (chest). When removing any type of cleanser, there are a few choices or a few that I have tried. Anyway all cleansers should be removed with some kind of material to ensure it’s all removed and the skin is left clean
I’ve been using the Enjo make up remover pads that come in a pack of 7 for arounf
so one-two uses per day (if you cleanse morning and night which you should!) Then into the wash to then start your round of uses again. These were ok and I used them for 2-3 years but found they seemed to go smelly even after one day. as a beauty therapist we use what’s called fribrellas
, which are disposable cloths that can be cut into 4 per one, so very cost effective and clean, available at chemists even Chux works the same way if you cut them up, but I found that I’d forget to get them before I got into the shower (if you cleanse in the shower) and I’d forget to throw them out so it became too hard as I’m a fuss free gal with very little time to waste.
I was frustrated! So went back to Enjo but still not 100% they were doing all they claim - my skin was still left with a little residue and left over makup.
I then found these awesome cleansing rubbery things in Kmart for like $2. I had seen them but never heard any reviews or pros or cons for the things, so I tried it!!
I love it - it’s clean after every use, its easy to use with a little grip on the back for fingers. It’s rough enough but still soft on the skin and does an awesome job when used with my cleanser, I’m stoked!! Guess what all the girls are getting this Chrissy… 😁😁😁😁
